Noise generator
This is the full RelaxEnd lab. Pick any of seven noise colors, shape tone and EQ, and set a sleep timer from one minute up to twenty-four hours. Sound is synthesized in the tab, not streamed from a file. Nothing leaves your device.
What this lab does
Colored noise is a math curve, not a recording. The worklet generates samples continuously, so there is no loop seam. Each color page on this site locks you to one spectrum; here you switch colors, try presets, and open the equalizer without changing URLs. Settings such as volume, EQ, and custom timer chips are stored in your browser local storage.
When people open the full lab
- You want to compare white, pink, and brown in one session before bookmarking a single-color page
- You need a long sleep timer or a custom minute value between presets
- You are dialing in EQ and tone across more than one color for focus or masking

FAQ
- How is this different from /pink-noise or /brown-noise?
- Those URLs lock the player to one color and add extra copy about that spectrum. The noise generator lets you switch all seven colors in one place. The engine is the same.
- What is the shortest and longest sleep timer?
- Built-in chips run from 15 minutes up to 24 hours. In Customize you can add a custom timer from 1 minute to 1440 minutes (24 hours).
- Is the audio a recording?
- No. A Web Audio worklet synthesizes noise in real time. There is no file to buffer and no visible loop point.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Open the page, press play, and adjust controls. RelaxEnd does not ask you to sign in for the lab.
- Does RelaxEnd upload my listening?
- Playback runs locally in your browser. We do not receive your audio stream from this player.
- Which noise color should I use for sleep?
- Many people pick brown for a low rumble or pink for something closer to rain. Others prefer white or grey for masking. This is not medical advice. Try a preset, set a timer, and use what feels steady to you.
- What do the presets change?
- A preset sets the noise color, tone slider, and sometimes EQ bands. You can still move tone and EQ after you tap a preset.
